Remember those Prom songs? I think this was one...

Bryan Adams - Heaven

This is what our school looked like. Is it there in real-time? I dunno. Do you still live there?

Oh there is the view when getting off the bus in the morning..
Here is one of the yearbooks. Do you still have yours? I can't find mine. Post some pics.
And here is the almighty symbol. It is the deadly Spartan head.  Those Spartans will knife you for looking at them the wrong way. No wonder they are extinct.

Hello again Spackenkill! It's been almost 10 years.. my how time flies!

Almost 10 years ago we started this blog and everybody got together for the 20th year reunion.. I mean the 21st year reunion.  We missed the famous 20th by one year. Who cares, right? 20, 21, same difference. I say better late than never.

That event was attended by about 30+ people, if I recall correctly.  We didn't officially have a count.  Well, we did not officially do anything.  It was totally casual. And some of the people were not even from the 1985 scapegoat class.  Who cares?!  We all had a good time.

This year is 2015, so if we can still do the math, that is 30 years. What are we going to do?  That is the question.  If we miss this year, we can always do a 31st year reunion next year.

Let's contemplate the possibilities.  I was always one for possibility.

But seriously, if we are going to do this, we should make sure everybody gets the word.  Everyone and their underclass or overclass friends will get invited. We will officially announce it a few months in advance. This will give enough time to make arrangements.

Where should we hold the reunion?

Should we have a DJ?  Or just play some musak in the background?

Who can help with all the planning and whatnot?  I'm in.  I already spoke to a few people who may be interested to attend.  How much they will help is another question. But who cares, how much does it really take to pull this off?  It's easy. All it takes is posting on a blog to get things rolling.

stay tuned for more details!

Hey Jodie

Whats up man? Wow thats a blast from the past.

So we just had a little Spackenkill reunion party over in Poughkeepsie. But it wasnt the main one we're trying to get together for October (?) 2006.

Who was there (not all 1985 class) - Bruce Ebersman, Mike Mooney, Dave McCarthy, Sue Arnouts, John Foroglou, Chris Liberto, several others.

I'm doing a lot of movies these days. Remember? Check out my Channel on YouTube. Please give me some feedback - I'd like to know what you think of my latest work.

My daughter was born the day before the Reunion in 2006

Shylah, at one day of age. More images and video of her on YouTube...

You're invited to join my Video Channel, so that you can watch more family stuff (you probably can tell, I'm a proud father!). There's also comedy, drama, arts, etc.

Just came back from the get-together organized by Adam. That was awesome! It was great to see everybody... the only problem is - I could only stay for about an hour.... My wife had a baby yesterday, so with our newborn, we are kinda busy now.

Well, that's the reality (coincidence). ON one hand is the past, on the other hand, the future. I think everyone had a good time at the get-together. It started at Residence Inn and moved over to Ruby Tuesdays for some viddles and drinks. After that, I dont know what happened since I departed. Someone else will have to continue the account. Any takers?

My assistant producer and I managed to capture some of the event on video. So as soon as I convert that, I will upload a web version... probably hosted by YouTube.

I want to emphasize, it was enormous fun to see everyone briefly, yet memorably at this little party. I want to thank Adam again and everyone else for attending... ***see you all at the upcoming reunion***

Just got an Evite from Adam. Looks like he's organizing something for August 18.

Here's the info (if you can't do the upcoming reunion, at least on this date, you can meet up with some of us!)

Host: Adam Opitz
Location: Residence Inn
2525 South Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601
When: Friday, August 18, 7:00pm
Who's up for a night of cocktails & old friends in everyone's favorite hometown? Hopefully I'll recognize most of you and we can skip the nametags...

Plan will be to meet in @ Residence Inn in Poughkeepsie around 7pm. I'll reserve a suite and have drinks ready for you (maybe 1 bag of chips or pretzels too, if you're lucky). Here we can briefly catch up on the past ??? years as you show me all the photos of your kids & spouses, and I'll show you pictures of my two plants (that actually aren't doing too well). From there we'll proceed to River Station for dinner followed by a series of local watering holes via chauffer driven limo (more likely an Avis cargo van) including: Gildernew's/Mulligan's, La Falces, Hobnobbin', and Noah's Ark (not necessarily in that order).

Your accommodations are your own responsibility--Don't plan on crashing in my room as I plan on sleeping with the teen skanks I recruit from the South Hills Mall earlier that afternoon. We'll split the cost of whatever chauffer driven drunk tank drives around town, and your bar tabs (aside from the free Kamchatka I provide in the room) are on your own dime. :)

Email me with any questions at adam@theagencyadgroup.com

I hope that this evite finds you all in good spirits and health, and look forward to seeing you in August. Do your best to make it...

P.S. Anyone who has contact info for people class of 84'-89' that hung w/ us that might also want to attend---please forward evite.
