Well where do we begin with this fascinating topic? No offense to anybody else, but we just don't give a shit. We are scapegoats, what do we have to lose? Nothing, they took everything away, our pride, our freedom, our dignity!
Seriously though, Scapegoats is the name of a sub-group, or sub-category (yes we are subhuman humanoids) of the larger Spackenkill population. We established ourselves after a lengthy and chaotic revolt against the Tyranny. I guess it could be called an American Revolution 2.0 (not that we had a Declaration or anything). We had secret meetings and planned out a new world for ourselves. We succeeded in taking over the entire system for a time, this was our Golden Age. We inspired the student body with school spirit and other mainstream, conventional activities. One of our memorable pursuits was producing movies. Bill Higgins always said "Flicks". They were made on super 8mm film. The real deal! I may show them at the Reunion.
Also I was writing a book about this Scapegoat movement long ago, but I lost the damn manuscript.. Maybe the dog ate it. Since I did not have a computer (what is a computer, man?) I used the new-fangled contraption at Keith Grimes house. He helped out a lot. His family also was very nice. Eventually, I want to complete this book about our important heritage. Since I'm one of the few that has any memory of it, but my brain cells are fading fast. We shall see. If it ever does come out in print, it will be announced here. Or somewhere else on the internets. Do a web search. (did I not say Google search for some reason? dang that is a monopoly)
In conclusion, Scapegoat is rebellion, but we are rebels with a cause!
